CELEBRATING INDIGENOUS LITERACY DAY
FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents/carers, students and School Community,
As we come to the end of another exciting and productive term, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible experiences and achievements we've shared as a school community. This term has been full of many fabulous events, strong student engagement, and continued progress, both in and outside the classroom. I am proud of our students, staff, and families who have made this term a success.
At the beginning of next term I will be taking some leave which had already been planned before I accepted the position here at Robinvale.
During the three weeks I am away Steph Fang will be the Acting Principal.
Footy Colours Day
On Wednesday we celebrated end of term as a College with a a footy colours day day organised by our our Events team and SRC. The day's activities celebrated us as a college and a community. The day included kicking and ball skills on the oval with our local footy heroes: Thank you to Don Falvo, Anthony Mezzatesta, Thomas Zappia, Vince Iudica, Rickey Zaffina, James Zappia and Joseph Mezzatesta and hotdogs for lunch. Thank you so much to the Robinvale Euston Eagles players for giving our kids such a great time and experience. Robinvale is such an awesome community!
Athletics Carnival
A standout highlight of this term was our annual Athletics Day. The students displayed incredible sportsmanship, perseverance, and enthusiasm throughout the day. It was fantastic to see students of all year levels competing and cheering each other on. Congratulations to our age group champions and all participants for giving their best. Special thanks to the teachers and parent volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly and ensured everyone had a fun, active experience. Good luck to our students who will now compete in Bendigo next term.
NAIDOC Week
This term, we also celebrated NAIDOC Week with a range of cultural activities and educational sessions that helped students connect with and deepen their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture. Our special NAIDOC assembly, featuring traditional stories, music, and dance, was particularly moving, reminding us of the importance of embracing our shared history and respecting the custodians of this land. Thank you to everyone involved in organizing this powerful week of reflection and celebration.
Father’s Day Breakfast
Finally, we celebrated the fathers and father figures in our school community with our annual Father’s Day Breakfast. It was heart-warming to see so many dads, grandfathers, and special friends join us for a delicious breakfast and quality time with their children. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success, and to all the fathers who play such an important role in the lives of our students.
As we close out this term, I want to extend my gratitude to the staff for their hard work and dedication, to the parents for their ongoing support, and most importantly, to the students for their continued effort, curiosity, and enthusiasm. It has been a busy and fulfilling term, and I wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break. We look forward to seeing you all back next term, refreshed and ready for Term 4.
Warm regards,
Lyn Coulter | Acting Principal

Social development is extremely important for children at this age and the nine-day commitment is essential if the aim is to be achieved. The program is highly structured with little spare time and the children are under constant teachers' supervision 24 hours a day.

CELEBRATING INDIGENOUS LITERACY DAY
Last week, our amazing KGA girls proudly shared their love of reading by visiting the Robinvale Preschool and MVAC Kinder. They read a selection of beautiful Indigenous stories to the young ones, spreading the joy of storytelling and helping to celebrate the richness of Indigenous culture. 📚✨
It was a wonderful day filled with learning, connection, and inspiration as the next generation embraced the stories of the land.
