TERM 3 ROUND UP
Dear Parents/Carers, students and School Community,
As we come to the end of another exciting and productive term, We would like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible experiences and achievements we've shared as a school community. This term has been full of many fabulous events, strong student engagement, and continued progress, both in and outside the classroom. We are proud of our students, staff, and families who have made this term a success.
To our Year 12 students this will be a busy time for you as you prepare for your last term as students here at Robinvale College take these holidays to rest revise and prepare for the exciting times ahead.
As we close out this term, We to extend our gratitude to the staff for their hard work and dedication, to the parents for their ongoing support, and most importantly, to the students for their continued effort, curiosity, and enthusiasm. It has been a busy and fulfilling term, and wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break. We look forward to seeing you all back next term, refreshed and ready for Term 4.

FATHER'S & SPECIAL PERSON'S DAY 2025
Robinvale College recently hosted our annual Father’s and Special Person's Day Breakfast - a wonderful morning filled with laughter, good food, and community spirit. Dads and special guests enjoyed delicious egg and bacon rolls, fresh juice, and the chance to test their skills in a friendly handball competition. A highlight of the morning was the raffle of a signed Hawthorn 100-year commemorative jumper, with all proceeds generously donated to the Robinvale Ambulance Auxiliary Committee. Congratulations to the raffle winner Bryce Valinoti and to Alex and Jacob for winning the handball competition! Later in the morning, our pre-school children joined their dads and special people for breakfast before heading back to pre-school, adding an extra touch of joy to the occasion. It was truly a fun and memorable morning for all. Thank you to everyone involved in the preparation and running of the event and to all who attended.

FOOD FIGHT COLOUR RUN 2025
The College held its Foodbank Food Fight Colour Run yesterday afternoon, with funds raised proudly supporting Foodbank Victoria.
Foodbank plays a vital role in supporting programs that ensure students across Victoria can access a wholesome, nutritious breakfast on a regular basis. A healthy breakfast has been shown to improve concentration, behaviour, attendance, social skills, physical and mental health, and overall academic success.
This year’s Colour Run was held on Wednesday 17th September on the Senior Oval. Students registered online, raised funds that went directly to Foodbank Victoria, and even had the chance to win prizes depending on their donation amounts.
Armed with water guns, coloured powder, and sponges soaked in water, staff, community organisations, and even the CFA truck created an exciting course that students could run and walk through as many times as they liked. Teachers Jack Holyoake and Rhys Phelan were also bravely “slimed” by our School Captains—much to the delight of the crowd! (No actual food was harmed in the making of this event!)
To top off the afternoon, everyone was treated to a free donut from the Rotary Club of Robinvale Euston donut van. It was a fantastic way to finish off the term—full of colour, fun, laughter, and community spirit.
A special thank you goes to the Robinvale CFA and our Ambulance staff for their wonderful support on the day.

BOOKS TO LIFE LIVE STAGE SHOW
Books to life are teachers who bring story books to life by adapting the content from the picture
The student in F-6 enjoyed the book "GENERAL WASTE" Live stage show. General Waste loves stuff! Wasting lots of stuff! He tosses away apples after one bite, he has hour-long showers, he must have the latest uniform fashion, and he rides around in a monster truck! He shares a house with Gram-Gram. She always saves her leftovers, does her own repairs and cycles everywhere! One day, when General Waste finds himself trapped under a mountain of his own stuff, Gram-Gram comes to the rescue. General Waste was a hilarious tale about how to find joy in the simple things in life.

AUTHOR VISIT JACK HEATH
The Year 3/4 class visited Robinvale Library to meet Jack Heath, the best-selling Australian author behind the action-packed 300 Minutes of Danger series, and more than 40 books for readers of all ages. The students had a great time asking questions about listening to Jack as he spoke about his life as an author and how he began his writing career.

FOUNDATION- YEAR 1 & 2 EXCURSION CAMP
Students from Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 recently enjoyed a fun-filled activity day in Mildura. The day began with a visit to Benetook Farms, where students took part in a variety of exciting farm activities. Afterwards, they enjoyed a special McDonald’s lunch at the park before returning to school.
The Foundation students then headed home, while the Year 1/2 students continued their adventure with an afternoon of fun activities at school. In the evening, they were treated to a delicious dinner and dessert, kindly prepared by Damien, followed by engaging evening activities. The day was wrapped up with plenty of smiles before bedtime.

R U OK? DAY
R U OK? Day 2025 was held on Thursday, 11 September 2025. This national day of action encourages everyone to reach out and have a conversation with those who may be struggling, reinforcing the message that a simple question can make a significant difference in someone's life. On the day the college students and staff were encouraged to wear yellow. At lunchtime, our SRC students set up a large cardboard “Thought Board” outside, inviting students to write encouraging words or messages of support on sticky notes and add them to the display. This activity encouraged everyone to THINK about and REFLECT on the importance of R U OK?
The completed board, now filled with positive and thoughtful messages, is proudly displayed in the office for all visitors to see—showcasing how our students have come together to reflect on and support the spirit of R U OK?
